pedestrians

One death already!

How many more will it take?

The intersection of Bellerine and McKillop Streets has a bus stop on either side of McKillop Street. It also has a Post Box and Public Telephone on the north side of the intersection. There is also a school along Bellerine Street.

These are all reasons for pedestrians to cross McKillop Street at this intersection. Although a pedestrian fatality has already occurred at this intersection, there is still no protection for them.

While the council will argue that McKillop Street is a VicRoads road, I am not aware of any approach by the council to VicRoads for any action to be taken at this intersection.
